Here's mine - it wan't nearly as messy as I thought it would be. I used tweezers to pull the thread through and kept my hands clean.

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...98985&cat=6662

Here's another one too - I used a much thicker string for this one:

I did this technique. It was so fun. I did not have dixie cup so I used a soda pop lid...it worked fine as it only takes a few drops...thanks for the challenge....it brought back memories of youth....here is mine.

Too funny, I uploaded my cards as String Thing instead of String Fling. Here's the second card I made with the other piece of paper. I don't think I'll be trying this again. Too much work for me.

Well, Beth, I tip my hat to you - you gave us a hard one! I must admit, once I figured out what to do with it, I do like it.

FUN FRIEND

Thanks for looking!

Here's mine for today -- I must admit though that I did not use the reinkers -- I kept pulling my string throug the craft pad until they inked up well and then pulled through the paper. I was having too hard of a time getting the string down into the reinkers and stay.

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...p?photo=299195

Thanks for the challenge!

This was a totally fun technique & I didn't even get messy. My string was really thick, so it soaked up the refill almost instantly & parts of the string didn't get a lot of color. I used a small bamboo skewer to push the string into the ink. Here's my string art rose.

Oh man, this was harder than I thought it would be. Maybe that's because I only have Basic Black and Real Red reinkers. It took practice and almost all day to get this done.

This was a tough one for me. I had fun though... I love challenges.

I used a piece of twill tape for the string. I also used Glossy Cardstock. I'm not sure if I like it, but at least I tried!

Were it is!

Drum roll please! This is my very first upload for a technique challenge!!! Yay me! I didn't have but one reinker so I used poster paints. Thank you to who earlier suggested that we use that or food coloring.

I finally got a bit of time. This was quite messy, but fun. I didn't have string, or reinkers, so dental floss and food coloring worked quite well. Thanks for looking.
