Ok, what gives with this...are you two girls trying to make us 'older' people go CRAZY!

OOPS! I thought we could choose one technique or the other. I didn't try both. I'll try to do another later. Here's mine with versamark resist:

Thanks for the challenge, Beth.

Ok, I'm gonna step up and ask a really dumb question...please realize I haven't been stamping very long...I have NEVER done anything with embossing or versamark, or resist or whatever. What do you mean when you say "Stamp the images you want to clear emboss and emboss"? Does emboss mean to use the heat gun. I have all the things I need, but I'm not sure what to do with everything...should I go to a tutorial for this? Ok, now that I am beet red...I'm gonna go clean the last bathroom for today and then I can take time to figure all of this stuff out.

Here's another one - I have to spend some time this vacation making a bunch of "on hand" cards for work... first time I used Made from Scratch - that's fun!

For those of you who are missing or don't own brayers, a sponge works great. I actually prefer a sponge, because the brayer doesn't fill in between the embossing very well. A sponge gives better coverage - that's what I used even though I did all one color.

Here's mine. It took me a while because I actually made two...but one is for an RAK so I am not posting it. This was fun. I am going to try it some more this week. Thanks for the cool suggestion, Beth. You're a great stamper and a great TLC hostess with the mostest!

I wanted to try embossing with colored ink and then the versamark for the white. I think it is interesting. What do you think?

Have gotten 2 done today:

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...50550&cat=5880

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...50553&cat=5880

As I look at them, they are a little crooked -- scanner dealing me fits and I guess when I look through the camera, I'm seeing crooked! Thanks, great challenge and something I will definitely try again!

Barb G,

Did anyone ever answer your question? I can't see that they did. So I will answer--Yes, clear emboss means use clear Embossing Powder with a heat gun. If you do it on white paper, whatever you clear embossed will still be white after you have smeared ink on everything else. Does that help? You probably already figured it out by yourself.
