This has to be Heather's card because I commented on the other one in November.

This was a fun technique. Used clear embossing powder & versamark.

Thank Rox, that's the one. I don't think the cracked looks as good on color as it does on a light cardstock. I will have to play with this technique again for sure!

Too funny!!

But then again here in Ohio I usually make fudge and let it cool and set up in my car since I don't have the space in the frig. Oh, I should add that I only make fudge in December!

Oh what fun it is to play . . . thanks so much for the inspiration to try something different. I loved the Cracked Glass technique, but don't you ever just wonder who decided to emboss a piece of paper and put it in the freezer to see what happens???
I combined this one with CC39, although I didn't have Elegant Eggplant, so I made do with other purply colors.

Here are my first two Cracked Glass cards:

Default I did one

This is my first challenge that I'm actually posting the same week. I finally figured out (I think) how to use my new camera & then the whole process from camera to computer, resizing, etc. & uploading. So here's mine:

Default Funny of the day!

Here's an image not to do the cracked glass with unless you want it to look like you shot em' through the window! LOL! Not the effect I was looking for! Started over and just did a few layers of clear EP to give it a shiny windowy look!

Ok - I am so happy with myself, I have to post about it - but I won't be able to upload the card until I get home. I have just done this challenge! It was the first time I have ever tried this technique, it is so fun! I was also able to combine this challenge with the color challenge, and the sketch challenge. I can't wait to get home now!

Thanks for the laugh! Could be a nice idea for a deer hunter, try breaking it with a nail and hammer!

Wanted to try this technique for a long time, but it took me a few weeks to get to it. Thought it would come in handy for the notebooks I've been making for gifts.

Wow! It's been forever since I have posted to a challenge thread. I had been wanting to try this, so thanks for the jump start. The cracks are more visible in person, but I couldn't get a great photo.

I'm catching up on my challenges. I managed to do 3 challenges with this card I like this technique, but did find it a little trying -- After I froze it for a bit (so I could crack it), I managed to break a piece off...oops! I did my cracks after too.

I know, I need to move on, accept that this challenge is in the past and try a new one. *sniff!* But I like this one so . . .
Here is another Christmas notebook (yes, four days prior to the big event and she is still stamping her lil' ol' procrastinating heart out). I forgot to mention in the description that I used glitter on the bee's wings. Just a note incase you want to try it, the glitter will withstand the glaze, freezing and cracking.

My first challenge - and I love this technique. Of course all the posts really got me going to give it a try!
I used three layers of glassy glaze. May have to try this one again!
