Okay - I haven't been stamping these last couple of weeks, I just can't find the time... but I really loved this challenge and got up early this morning to try. This technique makes beautiful cards, and most importantly, it is so quick (which is something I am NOT good at). Thanks Beth for the inspiration!!

Here it is:

When I have the time, I always like to try to challenge myself to make a card that combines the week's color, technique and sketch challenges. Here's this week's. It combines TLC37, CC35, SC46. I'm not sure whether I like the result or not!!

http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...0&ppuser=23849

Thanks for looking.

With the site down yesterday, I finally had time to do this challenge. Here's my card...

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=27057

It's my first ever collage attempt. I'm not feeling comfortable enough with it to do it again. But I'm really glad I tried it out.

This is an *awesome* technique that I'm sure I'll do over and over! Thanks, Beth!

Here's mine! I tried this using my bigger stamps, but they didn't snug up to the edges as well as the fine stamps do. I may have to do something similar for my Valentine Swap!

This has been a fun technique. It got a lot of "Ohhs & ahhs" at my last show.
I hope the link works.

I can't believe it took me so long to try this technique. When it was initially posted on the challenge I was absolutely WOWed by all the beautiful cards that were uploaded. It's so nice to have inspiration at your fingertips from talent all over the world. Thanks to all who inspired me for this card I made for my Sis-In-Law's birthday!

Okay, I'm feeling pretty dumb right about now. I've read and re-read the tutorial for this beautiful technique but can't figure out how you got the typed words on the card if the cardstock was placed over the area that was cut out. I even went to Kimm's website but that wasn't any help. Can you clarify this for me?
Thanks!

The white part you see is the cardstock. The pink lined paper has a square cut out of it and placed on the cardstock where you want it.
The image of typed words are a Stampin Up background image named By Definition. It is stamped over the paper with the square which is placed over the cardstock.
You then stamp the other images like flowers, butterfly etc before you take the pink paper off. When you remove it, only parts of the images will remain on the cardstock.
Got it? If not just message me or asked here again.

Thank you, Roxie, for clearing that up for me. It looked like the text ran from the pink paper right onto the white cardstock! It all makes so much more sense to me now!
