WOW, after participating in all 19 cards for VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) this past weekend, I feel like I'm alll thumbs this morning!!!

Seriously... nothing was going easy on this card. I couldn't even tie my ribbon in a KNOT and finally gave up and just glue dotted one on!! LOL

Here is my rubber band birthday!

TFL!!!

Wow, you read my mind! I was just thinking yesterday about using this technique for the background on a wall hanging in my boys' bathroom. I accept the challenge. You're on!

Great challenge. I'm out of rubber bands...kids you know. But am going to try with some of the million hair/pony tail bands and see what texture will come out.

Well I enjoyed doing mine, the ponytail coated rubber bands worked well. I went to take the picture and dropped my camera, broke my lens and had to count to 10 at least 100 times, so dd wouldn't hear what I was thinking. So I will buy a lens later this week, and post it. Great challenge. Poor figure coordination on my part. Never was a butter finger until today.

Took forever, but I finally have it done! I made some framed art with this technique for our main bathroom. I put the rubber bands on an acrylic brayer attachment, instead of the wood block. Details are on my blog: http://stampingstation.blogspot.com/...shy-frame.html

Something Smells Fishy

If you look closely, you'll see the rubber band marks behind the vellum. It makes the picture look like an underwater scene. Or at least I think so... LOL!
