Well, make sure you really have the right materials before trying any technique, LOL! I tried this with double-sided Scotch repositional tape, and it didn't work. I have bits o' paper all over my table to prove it, and the tape curled from the heat tool! Maybe I can try this another day, when I have Tacky Tape.

Thanks for the challenge, this is how we learn! lol!

I had trouble with this technique......I think my copper embossing powder was too old?? I had to emboss over and over. Next time I will try black, gold, or silver. Also, the first attempt I used double stick tape and when I hit it with the heat gun, it all curled up underneath the paper pieces. I re-did it using the red backed tape and it didnt curl this time.
Anyway, after all that whining, here is my card:

We had a school delay this morning for ice so I got to try this technique. I combined it with the color challenge and this is what I came up with:http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...62?limit=last1
Thanks, Lynn!

Here is my card.

This was a really fun and easy technique. DH liked it much better than my last one due to no glitter.
