Boy, was this a fun challenge!! It took me a lot longer than it should have because my punch kept cutting off the snowflake tips. I went through a whole sheet of shrink plastic just to get 11 snowflakes! But I like the result!

I'm catching up on challenges, and this one was so much fun! I used vellum paper b/c that's all I had and with the nasty weather, I'm not getting out unless I have to! It seemed to work fine, though. I love the look of pierced vellum, and this was the perfect opportunity to do it! Thanks Lynn for a great idea!

Default TLC198 Vellum Shade

I stamped the snowflakes using VersaMark Dazzle and then sprinkled UTEE over the images. I then heat embossed them as well as the top and bottom of the shade. This was super easy! Thanks for a great challenge!

Well, I just had to try this technique again. It is so easy with such delightful results. I stamped the image using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then stamped on the reverse side with the same image using VersaMark Dazzle in Frost. I used a corner rounder to make the scalloped edges around the bottom of the shade. I punched the butterflies with a MS butterfly punch; adhered them and then used Vintage Photo Distress Stickles for the body. I used a VersaMark pen around the top of the shade; sprinkled with brown ep and used a heat tool on that.

HERE it is and tfl!
