Lynn, no vellum here either. I wish I did because it looks like a really neat project. Our Church is having a progressive dinner this Sat. I think this would make really neat ceterpieces. Especially with some of the punched out snowflakes scattered around the bottom of the glasses.

That happened to my card last week....it took a couple of hours to show up in the gallery....I posted on the problem site and it was fixed, just took a little while...

It certainly doesn't have to be vellum, but the vellum will let the light of the tealight shine through, and the cardstock wouldn't as much.

I am aware that the gallery is not functioning properly. It's a SCS thing...they will have to work it out.

Thanks Lynn for the fantastic challenge. I love the glow that this casts and I will be making many more.
If anyone can tell me who is the maker of this stamp, can you let me know with your comment. I forgot to write it down on the sheet and now I just don't remember "like everything else". LOL I would appreciate it.

Default My Dry Embossed Shade

That was totally fun! What a great idea! Thank you so much for posting it. I love the look of dry embossing on vellum, so decided to use that today. My wine glass has etching on it, so doesn't look right when lit. Time to hit the dollar or thrift store!

When I got back from working at DDs school and saw the gallery was empty I thought everyone was taking today off from stamping. What a crime that would be huh! Well incase the gallery is still not up to date, here is my shade http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=20208
I haven't done one of these in years. Thanks for always reminding us of forgotten techs!!!

Default Whimsical shade

Hello everyone, here is my votive shade, please don't laugh, I tried. Lynn, I really thought this was going to be easy, but it was a fine challenge. Will have to make more to perfect my style. Thank you for this new way of giving a nice ambiance for Christmas. With all the lights dimmed, the guests won't really see them. LOL

Whimsical shade

Enjoy and thank you so much for looking.
