I love the effect of your Hydrogen Peroxide...I don't think we have Simple Green in Australia...so I am just going to try all of my cleaning products and use the one I like best...what a shame it would be if I run out before I get to clean house - aww!! Great thinking on your part - it looks great!!!

Ok, totally fun! I made not one, but THREE cards with this technique! I had a hard time at first getting the right amount of simple green. My third attempt, I used a pump hairspray, which worked beautifully. It was a bit easier to control. One of mine also has Emboss Resist on it. I just HAD to do it! Couldn't resist. Thanks for this great challenge!

Hi Lynn,

Here is my card - Quiet Snowfall

It is funny cuz just about 3 weeks ago, dh came across a bottle simple green. He said he was throwing it away. I said I heard this is supposed to be good stuff. He said well I haven't used it in 4 years so it's gone.

Tonight I came home and told him remember that Simple Green you found? I need it. He reminded me he threw it away. Then I told him we had to find something else. Ta Da! Grillo's Garage Cleaner.

Hope it works!

Thanks for a cool technique, Lynn! I honestly thought hubby had some Simple Green ... but "not". So I substituted rubbing alcohol, and flicked it from my fingers! Sorry it took so long .. but times are busy!

Lynn, Had to do this one once again. Even though it is late -

this I did with a pink/purple spectrum pad and liked the effect even more than the solid color. I would LOVE to know how this technique was truly invented. How fun!

Default Cool

This is really cool. I have some photo paper (no glossy cardstock) and I'm going to try that with bleach and with windex (on seperate cards! never mix your cleaning chemicals!) and see what happens... now I want to play I guess I'm a frustrated chemistry nerd

It's kind of like the opposite of using my spritzer!

It's a good idea not to mix cleansers, as we wouldn't want to hear of a papercrafter blowing up her house by mixing agents....lol Or, creating any noxious gases.

Simple Green is a household cleaner found at most grocery stores. That is where I found mine anyway.

Coming from the chemist in the group - try using whatever you have - even a dilute silution of bleavh will affect the ink. Imight be differnt but go for it - maybe you will invent something really cool we all will "borrow". Even 409 should change the ink. I haven't tried this yet but will - with some cleaning solution - I don't use them to clean with - too busy with cards!!!! Good Times!

As I am sitting here on my computer, I look over and here is my new bottle of WINDEX (I must of brought it in this room to clean something!), anyhow on the front of the bottle it has a little GREEN label that says "Greenlist Ingredients...same great Product!" So I am assuming this will be the same...going to try it today!
