Lynn...after we assemble the medallion are we suppose to turn it so all the folds are on the underside. That what I have done, but I see others didnt..which is right or does it matter at all

Yes, that is the way the sample I saw was done. But all in all, whatever side you think is prettiest is the side you should use.

I fought the triangle and I won! LOL! I thought for some odd reason that the points had to be inserted into the triangle before it. Instead I turned to Lynn's card and followed her pattern there.

OK - Apparently I'm the only one who has NO idea how to do this. I'm at a loss and officially frustrated. maybe some wine will help - or my husband cause I can't make heads or tails of this.....It looks so fun too!

Default Please help!

I have gotten all the way to step 10, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to fold the first triangle over the last triangle. It looks so pretty, but I can't seem to finish it!

Red face I AM SERIOUSLY CHALLENGED

Wow, this felt more like a life and death struggle to me. Took me forever to figure this one out...I had to leave it and come back to it 3 times. The instructions were awesome...I just couldn't get it.

Finally, here it is: (I hope it's right)

Loved this challenge Lynn! I am so happy I found some time to participate. I think my card looks like the top of a gift box. My triangle fold medallion reminded me of a bow. Here is my card - Triangle Folded Medallion Poinsettia

Just lift up the edge of the first triangle and slip the last edge underneath (see photo #10)...try not to over-think it.

I loved this fold! It really adds a lot to the card. Next time, I will try two different papers. The cards made like that are great. Here is my card:http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...&ppuser=201705

since it is a white base card I had to set it on the pink paper to take the photo.

Okay, feeling stupid! After leaving it alone for an hour to make dinner, I came back and put it right together! I guess I just needed to put it down for a little while! Can't wait to add it to a card now!

Lynn, I can see how this must have been really hard to restate! I had better luck if I just worked from one side the whole time rather than worrying about flipping it over. Other than that, your instructions were great! Here's my cards - I can see using this technique on lots of things - thanks for a good one!!!

Rustic Christmas

Thanks

I am very new here, and haven't posted any pix yet But I wanted to chime in for those frustrated and those who may not know how they did it... When assembling the triangles dont focus on the flat edges of the design, instead focus on the tip of the triangle - they will all meet in the center of the design. None of the edges meet up, they over lap and are offset thus giving the petal appearance. I found as soon as I focused on the tip of the triangles meeting it went together very fast. Hope this helps someone!
