Here's my first attempt at this technique, sort of screwed it up, but will for sure try it again. Thanks for a great challenge Lynn!

Default Monkey Magic

Great technique. I'm sure I'll be doing another one soon. My first one is here. The only exception is that the magic is not black in this case.

Thanks for hosting, Lynn.

This is another technique I hadn't tried yet. I'm glad I had a chance to try it out today. It was easy and fun to do and looks great, too. Here's my card:

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...29#post2227529

Here is the Chalkboard from the Resources section:

They all seem the same to me....just different names?? I haven't had a chance to really examine the differences. I have only tried the pencil over but I am thinking it is very similar.

Thanks for such a cool, challenge, Lynn! I just had to squeeze it in today! My first grade teacher, Mrs. Jacobs, could draw many things, very well on her chalkboard. She colored her drawings in with colored chalks to our amazement. This technique reminds me of her drawings.

Here's mine: Turkey a la Black Magic!

I was pretty intimidated to try this one, I admit. I have not got Prismacolor pencils or OMS, but I finally got brave, stole my son's colored pencils, dragged out the Goo Gone and went for it.

I think I flashed back to the 70's with the color scheme, but hey, those are the pencil colors we had!

This was super fun once I got started, so thanks for another great one!
Here's my try:

This Technique is amazing! TFS.

The pic definitely does not capture the beauty in this.
Looks like almost you are painting on velvet.
And the GOO GONE really works.

So sorry the pic is not the greatest..Maybe I will try again
and maybe even some gold flakes for the ornament strings...

Black Magic Ornaments

Anyway, please take a peak..
