Here is the card that I made for this challenge. I had all the scraps and this stamp set on my desk already, so I went with cupcakes again. Made mine a circle instead of a rectangle. Thanks for the challenge Beth. I've never done one of these before but will be making more for sure.

This was an awesome tutorial. I have been in a rut of making the same old 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards. This was a nice way to change it up. Here is my first one and will probably make another one. I hope you like it.

Unfortunately, these kind of cards always scared me and it is not better after reading this instructions. So I will miss this week's tutorial. I measure everything in metric and if there is so much measuring, I find it quite difficult to convert, especially as all my tools, apart from a simple plastic ruler have cm and not inches on it. But I am very (!) impressed with everyones entries, your cards are gorgeous! Perhaps I am lucky and next week is a 'less measuring' project on offer!

I was so excited to try this card! This is my first challenge submission and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to make lots more of these cards!

I have no idea if this ended up in the correct gallery or not...I'm still figuring this all out!

ETA: I had to do it again! Here is my second version of the card:

This is a "pop up card" but not the exact one Beth challenged us to make. Since I see in the gallery that tons of other people cheated, I am going to too. My SECOND CHALLENGE.....

Okay so I'm a total moron, I came on and said I was making a card but then I didn't attach the link, I am still learning here, and I am totally computer challenged - this is so good for me in that respect!! Anyway- I will now attach my pop op card.....which is much cuter IRL, but still looks pretty cute. Hope you like my second challenge!! Here's the address:

Here is my DD's submission for today's challenge. She got pretty frustrated but stuck with it until she had something she was happy with.

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...&ppuser=107330

Good technique to learn and not that difficult once you get that first one completed. Thanks for your comments.

This was an interesting challenge. I'm glad I learned how to make these, I think with a bit of practice it wouldn't take quite so long.

Thanks again for the challenge.
