I combined this challenge with the SC on Wednesday, so the card is late, LOL. These are the cards I came up with. They are pretty much the same, but I used different colors for the main image. Would love to know which you like best. I could not tell if the softer or bolder colors looked better. I thought this technique woudl be harder than it was. I did the emossing for the center/main image. Not sure how well you can see it. In both images the colors are brighter than IRL for some reason. Not sure why they photographed that way TFL

Default Haunting Resist

This card turned out to be fun! It started as a sketch challenge, then when I was unhappy with the color saturation I decided to emboss it, so why not do a resist and jump in on the fun! Its not on glossy, but the versamark resisted a bit too for a neat look...

Thanks for looking!

Finally got to finish my card I started on Monday! What a totally cool combo of techniques. Thanks for the challenge! (but wow, it definitely doesn't work without glossy paper!) Here's my much resisted card...

I had a great time with this technique...definitely one I have to do again!

I guess I am too new to SCS...can't post my file location...but I did put the keyword in so you can find it in the gallery (A Priceless Birthday)

Well, I combined this challenge with the Bouncing Brayer tutorial from Wednesday. As soon as I tried the bouncing brayer technique, I knew I had to try it with the emboss resist, and then decided, "why not go 3 for 3?"

I'm sending this to a friend who just had a baby boy. I wrote on the inside:
I know this probably has a little too much pink & 'bling' for a baby boy, and it should probably say, "you're" here, instead of "i'm" here, but...

Hopefully it will still be okay. I mean he is a baby, after all.
