I am new to this site and want to catch up learning new techniques. I loved this one, the idea of kissing has struck my fancy! I keep playing with it! I have this one and then one I like to call kiss off, LOL. I still have to upload that one. I used the canvas background stamp and inked it then stamped it off before putting the other stamp on it in a different color, then Iused the canvas to stamp. I will get that uploaded tomorrow. I am off to stamp today. Hope you like this.

I hope that is how you load it

Hi there and welcome to SCS! If you go to the first post in this thread, you can find all the directions and some examples of the kissing technique.

Please ask if you need some more help!

I'm new to this. I did a card using the kissing technique. But, can't figure out how to upload it to this forum. I have uploaded it to my gallery, but when I searched through technique forums, I couldn't find one entitled kissing technique. Can anyone help me?

I have never participated in any of these weekly challenges. I think they are a great way to try new stuff. Off to try the kissing technique!

One of the first (pre-demo) workshops I attended used the kissing technique, but I had pretty much forgotten about it until I started reading this forum. Here is today's attempt:

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...62317&cat=3448

It was fun - I always did like the card I made at that workshop, so I just might dig it out and teach it at my next class!

The kissing technique is very easy and fun to do. Here's how. Ink up a background stamp, such as Filigree, Canvas, Soft Swirls, etc, with a dark color and leave it face up on your worktable. Ink up a solid stamp with a lighter color and then press it onto the inked background stamp (this is the "kiss"). Then stamp onto your cardstock.

Here are two examples...
