A fine morning to all of you!
I am an embossing powder geek. I love the magic of it, never gets old. Today, we are going to use embossing powder with double sided adhesive. No ink involved! I had good success with regular double sided and also inexpensive Scotch, although the tape did buckle a little bit. To make it look better, I put on another layer of powder.. You can do whatever you want with the technique; the video shows several ideas but if you just want to play with the technique and forego the video, go for it! An important step before melting the powder is using your finger to push the embossing powder into the tape. Brush off excess but don't brush the stuck ep. Heat up your heat gun well and keep it moving.. An embossing buddy may help with the powder sticking in places you don't want it to be. Make sure you do one exposed tape at a time unless you're going to do everything one color. Anything goes, which is just the way I like it!

It was great fun to get the embossing powders out again. TLC994 Lemons by niki1 at Splitcoaststampers..
I tend to be frugal with my powders now that they only count in such small jars. So I was sorry that I ended up having to use gold when my first attempt with a turquoise one came to nothing... TLC994 Copper & Gold by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
