TLC839 ~Diamond Fold with an Origami Twist~ {03/22/2021}
Hello dear Technique Lovers
Diamonds are a girl's best Friend, or not...
I don't like jewels very much, but I'm sure lots of you do like them.
Today we're going to make some fun diamond folds and I've made you a new one with a twist, I call it an origami fold, I'll add the template in the thumbnails and some pictures to help you.
I've made one sample with a simple one, and I've also glued 2 together gluing back to back which makes a real fun dimensional design.
If you really prefer to make the diamond fold you can find the tutorial here: Diamond Fold card Tutorial
I just hope you try the simple or double origami fold
Here's our TLC839 Gallery
Note: For my next TLC in April you'll need some sratch paper, you can buy it or make it yourself by covering a paper with wax crayon coloring and covering it with a coat of black paint, you'll find a picture in the thumbnails
Remember to use the keyword TLC839 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Just a FYI - I took one of my cards to the post office today to see if it would need extra postage and she said it would cost an additional 20 cents to mail since it is considered "Non-Machinable" to mail. So these cards each cost 75 cents to mail.
