Default TLC815 ~ Triple Cube Card ~ {10/05/2020}

Happy first Monday in October to you all. Where has this year gone!!
Before your jaw drops at the thought of a fun fold (thinking of you, Jen, Jean, Stacy and...), this is WAY, WAY easier than it looks - and it folds flat for mailing. Bonus, right?
I promise - to create the base, it's four scores and three cuts, glue three flaps and glue the small cubes to the tall one (technically not a cube!). I was able to do the maths to scale mine up to 2 1/2", cut it, and die-cut and add the DP whilst watching one single episode of M*A*S*H. If you have dies you can use for the matting layers, like I used the scalloped squares, and you use pretty DP, that makes it go very quickly. It probably took me just as long adding and colouring all the die-cut embellishments.
We're going to try the Triple Cube Card, which featured in the Weekly Inkling a few weeks ago.

The tutorial (with video) is HERE.
If you'd like to check out the gallery for some inspiration, take a look HERE. You'll see one from Anita where she has added a fourth cube to make a table centerpiece.

Here's a link to our TLC815 Triple Cube Card gallery

Here's my card:

Remember to use the keyword TLC815 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card. Also (weren't you inspired by looking in the gallery) it's a great help if you too upload your card to the Technique Spotlight gallery. Simply choose Technique Spotlight from the first dropdown menu, and Triple Cube Card from the second. On a computer, if you type Trip into the box, it will take you there without needing to scroll.

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:

1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Lovely technique Sabrina. I also played with the measurements.

Some of you have done inspiring variations! This is very basic, but I really enjoyed making it.

Oops!  I forgot to tag my cards.  I made two this week and loved how they turned out.  The one using Forever Greenery even came out pretty without using extra embellishments.  Great inexpensive card kit possibility!
