Hello everyone! Today we're going to create using the Faux Fresco tutorial. I've never attempted this and when I looked at the gallery for the tutorial, it didn't look like many others had either. Most cards were dated in 2016 or earlier. Here is the tutorial:
The definition of 'fresco' is a painting done rapidly in watercolor on wet plaster on a wall or ceiling, so that the colors penetrate and become fixed as it dries. The Sistine Chapel ceiling is a fresco.
Some hints: be patient with this challenge; it was a challenge for me, although Anita and Sabrina had no problems with their samples. Use only white or buff acrylic paint; don't be tempted to try another. Whatever medium you use to color, make sure it's dry before applying the paint. Try to minimize the amount of paint on the colored parts; in other words, get most of the paint in the crevices, not on the colored parts if possible. I had the best luck if I didn't cover everything with a heavy coat.

My cards will be in the first post.
Remember to use the keyword
TLC803 when you are uploading. It's
helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in
case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says
www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
