Happy March Monday to you all. March is coming in like a lion here - what's the weather like for anybody else? It's my turn to host this week, and I thought we'd revisit a fun, easy fold. Let's revisit the
Criss Cross Card.
I'm working hard on trying to use up some patterned papers, and this format is great for that - although of course you can stamp or use other background papers to decorate the card base. I've always done the wider format before, so this time just to be different I used the portrait format - the dimensions are given down at the bottom of Beate's great tutorial, listed under Variations.
The tutorial is
HERE.
Remember to upload your cards created for this challenge to the Criss Cross gallery (choose Technique Spotlight from the first drop-down menu, Criss Cross from the second), so that other people browsing the gallery can be inspired by your creativity.
Here's a link to our
TLC784 It's OK to get (Criss) Cross gallery
I will link my card in the next post, as the current editing issues are too much for me to deal with in the small hours of the morning...
Remember to use the keyword
TLC784 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
