Default TLC782~Joseph's Coat~2/17/2020

Here are the Details for today's challenge:

Today I get to host the Technique Lover's Challenge and I have been playing around with a fun oldie but goodie - All the way from TLC10, I am doing the Joseph's Coat Technique but with some of my current products - meaning Distress Oxides

I played around with several backgrounds but only got one card completed haha - this is what I made from the video background.

I hope you are inspired to join the challenge and create some fun backgrounds - be warned it is a little messy and a lot addictive

Hugs,

Lyn

Love this technique and one of the first ones I tried a few years ago. Thanks for the challenge.

I enjoyed your video.  I hope to try this later with the Oxide inks that I own.  Loved seeing that NinaB is still designing.  I have missed seeing her work in recent years.

I rarely get to play in the TLC but I am off work and get to craft today so I am thrilled to get to play. Here is my card:

I've been going to try this with DOX inks as I've never had great success with the regular distress. Maybe tonight, hopefully tomorrow. I'm running a bit behind with things.

Going to see if I can embed Lyn's video...

If I ever did this technique, it was many moons ago. Thanks, Lyn:

Oh my! So much fun. I made a note to try this technique over the holidays when I was reminded of it on Justine Hovey's top technique's video. I was happy to see it it for today's TLC, and made *very many* panels! LOL.
Here are two that I made into cards (so far):
Thanks for looking!

I think I need a little more practice in stamp selection, but it was fun!

A bit late to the party but I wanted to do this technique - I went old school with a rainbow pad and stark black!

My first attempt I misread the directions and used white embossing powder. That card turned out nice, but then I tried again with the clear powder and got the full effect. I love how it turned out. Thanks for the technique instructions! Here is my card.
