TLC76 - In a Different Light

Good morning, my friends! Today's challenge is to show us a card "in a different light". Pick any card in the catalog and duplicate it but in a different color scheme.
If you don't have the exact background or sentiment, substitute something similar; the idea is to make it look as close to the catty version as possible, just in different colors. Please specify in the recipe section when you upload which card in the catty (by page #) that you used as your inspiration.

If you have questions, please ask. If you have suggestions, please share!
When you upload, please put TLC76 in the keyword section when you upload, and then post a link to your card here in this thread.
If you need help uploading, click on this link for helpful information:

I look forward to seeing all your creations!
As always, I am in search of suggestions for techniques for future TLCs! Please PM with suggestions and a link to the directions and/or a sample if you can.
Thanks!

Wanna a little 'showmestamper' trivia? The title of the challenge comes from country song by Doug Stone that was popular in the early '90s. The song is about a couple that works together and are secretly dating. Jack and I worked together, side-by-side, and we fell in love! The song was perfect for us, and it is still a favorite of mine.

Every morning I watch you walk into the office
In your business suit and matching shoes
With your hair put up neatly you tug at your glasses
And you you sit down, just three desks down
And I watch you in the fluorescent glare
And my mind drifts away somewhere

Chorus
And I see you in a different light
With your hair falling down, with love in your eyes
In my mind, you're a beautiful sight
I see you in a different light
Just the way I saw you last night

Well there's girls at the office the guys always notice
When they walk by, but you're not the type
They don't know what I know, how some things just don't show
Through tailored tweats, and that's fine with me
Let them all think what they want to
As for me when I look at you

It's track #13 if you wanna listen to the chorus:

All right, I'm getting misty....I'm going to call DH and tell him I love him!

and back to your regularly scheduled stamping......

Have fun!

thanks for the fun little story...and for a fun challenge, too!

golly 08-07-2006 06:53 AM

I love this challenge Thanks Beth. . I use the catty cards for inspiration all the time. Also loved your little added sentiment about your DH. I think I will make mine a 'I love You' card today. We have been married almost 42 years and I love him more every day. Our song from 1965 was Buck Owens' I've got a tiger by the tail. lol. How time flies.

CardFanatic 08-07-2006 06:54 AM

Thanks for the tune, Beth!

Sounds like a fun challenge! I can't wait. Off to get my catty!

88 keys 08-07-2006 07:00 AM

genie1314 08-07-2006 07:02 AM

fun! hope to play later!!
