Default TLC720 ~ Assembly Line Stamping ~ {12/10/18}

Hello friends!
It's my turn to host our Technique Lovers Challenge!

If you know me very well, you know I don't like making multiples. I always hated swaps, because I wanted to make one-of-a-kind designs. So a couple of weeks ago, when the Wednesday Tutorial came up, I thought, "I really ought to do this tutorial, because why waste a good design on just one card?"

So today we are sharing cards for others to see your interpretation of Assembly Line Stamping. What card, to YOU, is easy to make multiples of?
It doesn't have to be CAS, or have a lot of layers, or be any sort of this or that design. I am hoping that we get a lot of different ideas for different occasions, as well. Because some of us (ME) need all the help we can get when it comes to making multiples.

Half of the time I spend stamping is thinking up the idea! If I only have to think of one idea for 10 or 25 or however many cards, I might decide I like it!

Check out the tips in the tutorial by Lisa, and mention in your description any other tips you have!

Happy Assembly Line Stamping!

Great idea Judy. Like you I like to make my cards all different, but usually when it gets close and still need more I make multiples. Like this year. Here’s mine:

I'm like you Judy, I don't usually mass produce but this card is super simple to do that. Thanks for a fun challenge.

Another one who usually goes for one-offs. My heart sank last year when someone my SIL had given one of my cards to rang me and asked for 12 of the same card for herself. But for €30 I grinned and bore it - and I think my SIL must have explained to her because this year I just got a request for any suitable cards I had.

I did make four of these for my SIL and the most time-consuming bit was the actual die-cutting, I assembled the eclipse part while having coffee with DH, and I could happily have made more.

I also made eight of these to send to someone who had mentioned that she was finding it hard to get on top of her Christmas cards this year - I didn't upload that batch to my gallery as they were almost identical (except for the fresh batch of tissue paper watercolor) as the ones I made last year. And I think I used gold glitter card for matting hers.

With the last date for US/Canada/Australia posting passed, I'm more or less done with cards but I might see this evening if I can cook up a quick assembly-line make for the last-minute needs that always arise. I think Christmas is the only occasion I would batch-make, unless I needed something like a lot of thank-you cards or new home announcements.

A very timely challenge for me today as I find I am short on Christmas cards. I rarely stamp multiples as I get bored easily, but it's something I need to do as time is running out!

I'm with you, Judy, on the one-of-a-kind cards, but I did make one that could easily be mass produced (IMO). Thanks for the challenge! Dazzling Ornaments~ by stampin'nana - at Splitcoaststampers

This is one of my go-to techniques when I need a quickie card. I rarely make multiples, but these fit the bill. Thanks, Judy, for giving me permission to crank some out!

A link to my cards for this challenge. Strictly speaking, they are not stamped, but I used Hunkydory card toppers that were included with an issue of the UK magazine 'Cardmaking and Papercrafts'. The silver foiled borders and highlights, make for such elegant and easy cards.

One type of card that I usually make multiples of are Sympathy cards. I always hope they will sit in my stash for a long time, and that I won't find myself sending the same card design to the same person more than once!

Like Claudia, i get bored making the same card repetitively. I did however enjoy making ten of these for a swap I was in. It went together pretty quickly really. It surprised me. I CASED it from the MFT blog type in Beautiful Bloom kit.

I found Lisa's system quite well to fulfill my 2021 New Year's Resolution to keep me out the bind I found myself in this past Christmas...no time to finish enough card, get the inside prepared, sign, and mailed timely. My resolution, since I had Christmas materials out trying to hurriedly make my 4 children's card before Christmas Eve, was to finish enough cards for family and close friends before the end of January. By using about 13 designs and making 4 to 6 cards per design, I finished a total of 69 cards for Christmas 2021. I'm elated...I've never been ahead of the game and especially this far! Now, I want to continue another 60 before I put everything away!

Here is one of my alternative designs for the October 2020 - "Joy to the World" Paper Pumpkin, of which I made 6: Christmas Flowers Bring Joy...!
