Here's mine. It's not nearly as striking as some of the other cards I've seen with this technique, but I hope you like it anyway. Thanks again, Beth!

I tried something kind of similar to this when I was making cards this weekend. I wanted to make a card using the set Land That I Love--specifically the flag--but I didn't want to color in the stamp with markers. So I stamped it in Basic Brown on white cardstock and then watercolored it with Ruby Red and Night of Navy. It came out pretty neat--the colors were like a wash over the brown, so it kind of looked like a sepia-tone photo that's been tinted with color. I'd post a pic but my DH took the camera with him when he deployed...maybe if I'm extra sweet to my neighbor she'll scan the card for me...

I tried it with Chocolate Chip ink and then colored over it with colored pencils. That time the color came out a little more strongly--not quite the same effect, but close. I liked it with the lighter brown ink a little better, it was more subtle.

Just an idea!

This was my first time working with SU craft ink. I was surprised how long it takes to dry. I tried the heat gun, only the burn my ribbon. Fun technique though. Thank you Beth, I will use it again. So here it is.

Thank you for looking.

Here's another one from me. The purple is much brighter IRL, it's kind of flourescent. I was afraid this was going to have too much going on, but I think it works.

Thanks Beth for the challenge--half of which was finding a stamp! I debated whether to even upload this. Tried the only other stamp I had that might work, and threw that in the trash. Decided to just keep it super simple and go with the flow (lol). I like the look of this technique, I just need to add a few more stamps to take good advantage of it.

This was a new one for me, too, but I kinda like it! I had no idea I could color over white craft. Now I can use the dark cardstock for images, too!

Finally got one done. I decided to use this for my class tomorrow, so I had to cut all the card stock. I started another, so will hopefully have that finished tonight. From what I saw in the gallery, it looks like this was a popular image for this technique. Here's my card.
