It's Sabrina here - thank you to Judy for swapping the first Monday of the month with me in July, and to Karen for taking my spot at the end of June! I had a great vacation but am happy to be back stamping again .
I have an easy challenge for you today - it was a tutorial in the Inkling a couple of years back, but it's one I've revisited several times and I hope you will enjoy trying it out. It's great for making a CAS one-layer card, although my sample, I have to confess, isn't quite CAS this time round. What a surprise!

**Since this is a tutorial in our Resources section, we have a special gallery for it - please upload your cards to the gallery to help build an inspirational resource for others.
Choose Technique Spotlight from the first dropdown menu and... Bordered Sentiment from the second dropddown.
Simple, quick - and of course it's always in your own gallery too.
Remember to use the keyword TLC596 when you are uploading. It's helpful (to the hostesses for sure!) if you come back and leave a link on this thread .
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. __________________
Honestly, I cheated a bit on your challenge. Have a lot of obligations going on today and so took the "quick route" by using a stamp that did the bordered sentiment for me. Combined it with the CAS for today as well. Thanks for the inspiration, Sabrina.
i have no idea about the Christmas Rose Sabrina and had no idea what color to choose for this image so I just went with something to compliment the berries. I am probably far off base with what the color should have been!! Oh to have the stored up knowledge you have my friend!! I'm afraid I have been lax in recent years about reading my flower books and such!! :rolleyes:

Went with green feathers- reminded me of fern fronds- and turquoise flowers- along with my greeting and some washi tape. Here's Floral Good Luck- dedicated to my 2 wonderful kids!

I'm getting a really late start today. My 2 youngest grandsons (4 & 6) came to visit over the weekend. They love to craft with me so even as their mom was trying to get them in the car they were begging to do "one more craft" - and yes we did!!! So better late to the challenge than never . . . .
