Hello everyone!!! I just finished watching the Women's World Cup Soccer game and OMG!!!! It was such a good game!!! Both teams played their heart's out but the USA won 5-2...WOOT!!!!

This is Joan and it's my turn to host this week's challenge!!! How many times have you received a beautiful store bought card and just couldn't throw it away because it was just too pretty?? Well, dig out those beautiful cards and create something new with parts of one or more of your saved store bought cards....Recycle That Card!!!

You have impeccable timing with this challenge, Joan! I was in the process of figuring out how to use a commercial card that I bought because it was so dang cute. Granted, no one sent it to me, but I sure wish they had. ;)

Good idea for a challenge, Joan! I rarely re-purpose greeting cards because I feel like I'm cheating, so this was just the nudge I needed to use some pretty bookmarks that came in some advertising mail I received. I made 2 cards:

I usually recycle Christmas cards as most of the rest of the cards I get are handmade and I keep all those cards. Joan- great challenge, what I like to do Best! I used this adorable thank you card with the floral border, adding a frame to the sentiment, and a vintage kitchen mixer image from Stampabilities. Oh dear me! So far this is the only card I've found! it was a Mother's Day card from my comedian son! Said no one gets me like you do mom and the inside says there might be something wrong with you! LOL it will not make a pretty card!
