TLC348 ~ Stamp the Border ~ (10/24/11)
Hello everyone!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!! We went to see three of my Grands who live out of town so I got my Grandma fix...now I won' be so grumpy. (for a day or two, anyway...LOL!)
Are you ready for a fun and fabulous challenge?? Today we are going to dig out our smallest stamps and stamp a border around your image or sentiment!! You can use flowers, acorns, leaves, animals, shapes...what ever you little heart desires as long as you use little stamps and not one big stamped frame!!! You can mask off the images or just stamp them all together... you can color the images or use solid stamps for a silhouette effect...Just remember...you must use stamps!!!
Here is my sample:
Stamped Flower Border
Please remember when uploading to include the Keyword TLC348
You can view the entire TLC348 gallery here
I can't wait to see what you create!!!

I had the time to make a card before I went to bed. Cool technique, Joan.

I'll be back in the morning to check out the gallery.

Ah, I quite often do this on my base card with little leaves or suchlike...but not often on the image panel; that will be fun to try. I'll do the housework now, and see if I can combine with the HYCCT challenge when it goes up.

I liked your idea of using our small stamps to create a border. I forget about my itty bitty stamps! Thanks, Joan.

Joan here is my card. I stamped a boarder of teapots and teacups for our Tuesday teaparty this week. I made this card twice. The first time, I embossed the boarder, but didn't like it. Seems like I can't emboss well anymore. Either my emobssing powders bad or my watermark pad is bad! It can't possible be the operator! TFL

I didn't get a chance yesterday, but I did use this technique with today's colors.
Thanks again Joan!

I managed to go simple with a border on my card, but I like the subtle style of it.
Thanks for the challenge, Joan!
Thank You in Greeley
