Hello, friends!


At the risk of someone throwing something at me, I feel the need to remind everyone that Christmas is a mere 96 days away! How the heck did that happen?!

~ Tag, You�re It! ~

I did a thorough search of the prior TLCs and was simply amazed that I could not find a challenge that involved tags. Tags are so fun. They can be any shape (think nesties!) and nearly any size. You can use them on gifts. You can put them on cards. You can make them into tiny accordion books. The possibilities are endless! I challenge you to make a tag for whatever occasion you like!

Holly, a very timely challenge. I'll have to start on my Christmas ones soon, but today I decided to combine your challenge with the CAS one. It's a tag that could be used when giving a hostess gift for Thanksgiving or another fall event.

I wasn't going to stamp this week as I have an order of 225 cupcakes for a wedding on saturday. So if I don't get them all done, Holly, it's your fault! LOL

Thanks, Holly, for giving me the push I needed to start creating a stash of tags for gifts this upcoming holiday season. I'm still one who wraps gifts...and usually quite elaborately (for those who will appreciate the effort and expense). A hand-crafted gift tag adds the finsihing touch.

Tags are pretty high up on my list of faves! I have a truckload of them in my brain, but no time this morning to execute! I just made a fast card with three Trendy Tags on it and incorporated the CAS color challenge, too! Thanks for looking! it just so happens that I have a lot of tags to do for an upcoming craft show. Here's mine for today.

Well that was so much fun I made 6 of the little devils. I don't know how to link 2 pictures to this thread so I decided to show you the single tag. Great challenge Holly, got be realizing Christmas draws near so I better get at it. Here is my Santa Tag.

This card has a teeny, tiny tag but I hope it still counts. I used a scrap piece and cut a rectangle. One end is cut with the Scallop Trim Corner Punch. It doesn't show very well in the photo.

This is not my favorite card, but the more I tried to add, the worse it looked.

I had fun doing this challenge because I ended up just supervising my 10 y/o daughter and helping her a little, she did the tags almost on her own and I will take 0 credit for the designs, they were all her idea.
