Thanks, Lynn, for the instructions on this pretty technique. I have wondered how to do this. I didn't get a card made tonight, but I experimented with the technique and finally was successful.
I used the cardboard that comes with DP for the chipboard. It apparently was not thick enough and my embossing was not sharp enough. So, I added a couple pieces of CS for a shim on Plate A. (Smooth Embossing) When double embossing, my embossed CS was wrinkling. I solved that problem by using just one of the positive pieces rather than two on the Nestie. I hope this makes sense and I hope it helps someone achieve good results. Thanks again, Lynn. |
TLC245 Double Embossed Angel
HERE is mine. I love this technique and have actually done it several times before. I saw the technique on the Cuttlebug Spot blogspot. I love CAS cards so I added no embellishments.

Thanks for getting me to try this technique--very helpful and informative. It's late here (11:55 pm) as I write this, so I decided pretty late tonight to do this challenge, but I think it came out cute. Hope you like it!

[QUOTE=Toy;15476664]Thanks, Lynn :)
I will have to try this again as my first attempt didn't come out as well as I would have liked. I need to tweek the sandwich some as the one stated wouldn't run through my cuttlebug :( I found the same thing the sandwich was too thick - could be the thickness of the chipboard, I guess. I stopped as I didn't want to break a plate. For those of you who managed it - lovely cards! |
