I posted this sample using Serenity a few weeks ago. The scan is from about 3 years ago and I no longer have the card but it does show what is possible with the aqua painter. I had an earlier version of the reservoir pen back then. Bleach works great for getting creating toile projects.
I found the piece with the bleached flamingos in my scraps (???) and so I made it into a tag for this week's WT07 challenge.
I stamped the flowers in bleach too, then embossed the sentiment in winter white EP.
I have used one of S.U. sketches sets, embossedin black, then "colored"it in with the bleach. Looks fine just like this--but I couldn't stop there. I then "painted" with Pearl-ex powders and WOW!!!!! Too neat. Try bleaching on navy blue then bleach and then pearl-ex.
I thought of this card, but it didn't turn out the way I envisioned. I think it looks better than I wanted. I got a nice sephia look inside the rose, so I had to go with gold as an accent color. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

BLEACH TIP:
I learned a long time ago, that if you get bleach on something you shouldn't, douse or soak it with vinegar immediately to stop the bleach action. I keep it handy at workshops with bleach.
Here's my first card where I used bleach. I actually bleached inside of the embossed image and then used a blender pen to add back color to the leaves with my pastels. So much fun, thanks for the challenge!!
Now this is true recycling, not only am I recycling an old technique challenge but an old card as well. I'm working on sprucing up some of my cards that I have sitting around that I won't send. So on goes a bit more bleach, an image gets popped on top with some ribbon and MAYBE I'll find it acceptable enough to send: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Hi everyone - thank you so much for helping me find my mojo! I wanted something quick and easy to do this afternoon for a birthday card swap - i tried the "painting with bleach" technique and i LOVE it. Unfortunately I cant upload it as its for a swap - but just wanted to say it came out really well!
This card was fun to make a a bit of a challenge as I had to figure out which way I wanted to color it! I just found this challenge I knew there had to be one! Thanks for looking!
Okay! I'd love to do this! But i'm new demonstrator, and have never tried anything like this before. And i think i might have a problem: I do not have any wooden mounted stamps. I only have clear blocked stamps (that are thin pieces of rubber that sticks to a clear block and then peels off). So i have a question. Can i do this technique with the stamps that i have?
or in other words "Is it a smart idea to use bleach on peel and stick stamps?"
