We're heading to Montana this week. Kathy Flynn reached out to us to request a TEAparty for her friend Tana. Kathy receives SCS newsletters via email each week but hasn't created a profile yet nor does she post. Tana doesn't have a SCS account either but she does teach cardmaking classes at her local senior center where she volunteers, Unfortunately, it will be a while before Tana can teach her cardmaking classes. She had an unfortunate accident while trying to rescue her cat from the roof...she fell off the ladder and broke her shoulder. Owie! Hope that cat appreciates Tana's dedication. In addition to nursing her own health issues, Tana takes care of her husband who has Alzheimer's. Tana is currently staying with her daughter while she recovers but has been a little down in the dumps. Let's send Tana some warm fuzzies and turn her frown upside down! She loves flowers, silly animals and the color purple.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.

I will make a card using Spellbinders small die of the month First Crush. It'll be a little girl (I'll put her arm in a sling) and a cat and adding flowers - using purple on the girls outfit and flowers !

Just a quick mention....Teapotters if you know of anyone who needs a lift or is celebrating a special occasion let Jacqueline know and we can schedule a Teaparty.....
I made my card before I came to Splitcoast Stampers, and when you mentioned a funny animal, I knew this card was the one. I hope it tickles Tana's funny bone, because it sure tickles mine!

Sigh, better late than never (it's been one of those weeks...)! Here are my Silly Birds for Tana. Looks like "Hang In There" was a popular sentiment for this challenge!

So far so good for mine BUT I did have that happen with a card to my daughter and one to my nephew - put them in a different envelope readdressed them and they arrived in a few days time like they should have in the first place - sometimes I think that happens when there is a substitute delivery person on the mail route.

I didn't have mine returned neither, it happened to me sending a card to a Teapotter, it came back and I send it again and it arrived...sometimes it just doesn't work.
