Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
Challenge: Yes we've got power!! The power of Love!! My challenge is to use your Teapotter's power to bring Carleta out of her funk. You can find what she loves in the destination station, You could make a card with one or more things she likes, or you could make a card and get some extra cookies using the word POWER to make your card.
Example: P= Poodle, purple... O= orange (for Jen) Oval W= word (stamped or die cut) E= embossing R= rhinestones
Destination Station: Andrea, a friend Jacqueline knows through work, had her father pass away on St. Patrick's Day last year. Andrea's mother, Carleta, has been having a tough time since her beloved passed away. She's elderly and had been married a long time so naturally, she is lonely. Jacqueline mentioned Teapot Tuesday to Andrea thinking a tea party just might help bring Carleta out of her funk. She is fond of hummingbirds and absolutely adores her toy poodle, Lily. She also likes chocolate, flowers, red, blue, and Bible/spiritual verses. Send your cards to: Carleta Albea 142 Forest Hills Dr. Leland, NC 28451 USA
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT567 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.

Hello, I made a card for Carleta and I hope she likes it. I used a Cherish sentiment, but inside I had some daily things to cherish and I used 'daily strength you are gaining'. it was as close to "power" as I could come up with. : ) Enjoy! and thanks for taking a minute to look. new computer and photo software, tinkering still... photo is a bit too dark, but I will improve. Thanks Teresa
I'm crazy. I made a card for Carleta and popped it in the mail. Completely forgot to take a picture to post. Ugh. Anyway, it was blue and white and it had a little poodle on the front. Good challenge Anita. I hope some beautiful cards and warm fuzzies help Carleta out of her funk.
I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on my SCS postings.
I'm very late to the party, so my card will go to a friend and fellow crafter as a birthday card. I have incorporated a few of our original teapotter's favorites...flowers and red tones. The challenge word is POWER, and I have used all of the crafting element letters: P=Papers; O=orange; W=watercolor paper; E=Edge die, embellishments (gems/ twine); R=re-inkers.
