Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is:peeps321/Polly
Challenge: Make either a wrinkle free distress background or a sponged background on your card. Variations could included spritzing your background with water, using a stencil as you sponge, or combining the two techniques.
This week's Tea Party was requested by Shelly (mcschmidty) for her sister-in-law, Diane. Diane is very outdoorsy, loves to travel and is healthy as all get out- until about 5 years ago. She was treated for small bowel (duodenal) cancer and was clear until last June. Her cancer is back, she has gone thru chemo and recently finished radiation. She has a good attitude and is fighting like a trooper, but she is down to just 90 lbs. She is retired and has a house in Mexico. She loves flowers, gardening, water coloring, nature landscapes, sunshine, and farm animals. She grew up on a farm in Illinois and enjoys visiting her friend's goat farm.

I mailed a card to Diana yesterday and an appropriate one out of my stash. I hope that she receives lots of cards to cheer her up. Happy day everyone
