Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Shoe Girl / Lisa
CHALLENGE: We are hoping you would create 2 cards this week. One for each of our destinations. The challenge, pick from the attached Tic-Tac-Toe squares and create a card. Extra Cookies if you do 2 cards using the board. One note, the center wild is a free space to pick your own item to add to the card. Just trying to keep the challenge easy enough to hopefully create 2 cards one for each of the destinations.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You; Encouragement; Hugs
This week's Guest of Honor is John and Michele referred to us by Jacqueline. Marion, Michele's mom & John's wife of 57 years, passed away in mid-January after a brief, somewhat sudden bout of advanced cancer. Now that they are past the initial shock of losing Marion and having to take care of the arrangements, she thought it would be nice to send comforting thoughts to John and we are also hoping you might make a second card for Marion's daughter Michele. Marion's birthday would have been celebrated February 5 so it was a hard day without her.
John used to golf and likes "typical" man things. He is just the most laid back, easy-going, nicest guy ever. Use "Pastafazool" as your salutation on John's cards - as an inside joke, Jacqueline is sure he'd get a laugh out of it.
Michele is a CRNA and was her mom's primary caregiver while she was in home hospice. Michele likes kitties, cooking and baking, flowers and loves pastel colors.

God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
I'm sitting here wishing I could make a card. Typing hurts the chest. I can't pull or push anything and can't lift anything over 5 lbs. all I can do is look and wish. I miss being here and making cards.
All I can think of is getting over this surgery and living my life better than before. my 1st thing will be to make a card and the 2nd bowling.

Shirl
thank you Shirl, it hurts not to be able to join in the fun.😥 maybe next week after I see the dr. I'm so hoping. Cardiac rehab coming up too so I can bowl next season.😊
I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal, and I needed a baby shower card featuring a Winnie the Pooh theme.
Playing Tic-Tac-Toe, I picked the bottom, horizontal row: Dimensionals, Green, and Ribbon. My card is popped with dimensionals, a green cardbase & frame, plus a ribbon band & bow. As I'm late to the party, my card will be used for a baby shower.
