2 Attachment(s)
Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT696 Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!Roll the Dice This week's challenge hostess is: Jennifrann/Jen CHALLENGE: This week's recipient is celebrating her 100th birthday! I thought it would be fun if we send her a sampling of the trends she's seen over the years, so let's play a little game. Find some dice and roll them (or ask Siri or Alexa to roll some for you). Now pick your decade from the following list Dice Roll Decade 2 1920s 3 1930s 4 1940s 5 1950s 6 1960s 7 1970s 8 1980s 9 1990s 10 2000s 11 roll again 12 roll again Now decorate your card based on the decorating style of the decade you chose. I found this website for our reference:Decorating Trends Through the Decades CARD TYPE/THEME: Birthday (Milestone), Celebrate Time to celebrate! Jacqueline found this post on Facebook requesting cards for a woman who will be turning 100 in December and thought it would be fun to help her celebrate such a momentous occasion! SEND CARDS TO: 100th Birthday 5490 Arbor Branch Dr. Shallotte, NC 28470 USA Here is my card > Link to today’s Teapot Tuesday Challenge Gallery: MMTPT696 Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT696 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card! Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line. |

just checking: no name on the birthday girl? Will a card reach her with just addressed as 100th birthday? My dice roll gave me "5" for 1950 - I was born in 1951 so this should be interesting.. LOL

I'm sure it will go to the "resident" who is turning 100 :p

I thought there were trends that would have been much more fun to do, but here's my seventies card :D |
I made a card using the Spellbinders small die of the month, a lady from the 50's holding a present. Tried many times to upload but get the message "sorry, we are having problems at this time" so i won't be able to post it.
