Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: snietje/Anita
CHALLENGE:
Dorothy was a retired French Teacher and she loved to travel, cruising, reading and cross stitching, let's use one of her favorite activities to get inspired and send a card to Erling which will remind him his dear Dorothy.
You could use stitching, a travel scene, a boat, someone reading, anything will work if you make it a sympathy card.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Sympathy, Brighter Days
Many of you will remember SCS etsdas/Dorothy - we had a teaparty for her a while back. Dorothy had macular degeneration along with other health issues, including cancer. Sadly, Dorothy passed away on July 23. She fought as long as she could. Her husband, Erling, and children and spouses were with her when she passed. She was blessed to have visits from all of her grandchildren and all of Erling's siblings in the last week of her life. Erling is doing well and is being well taken care. His family is near but visits to his facility are hampered due to COVID restrictions. This week, we’ll be sending thoughts and prayers to Erling. Cards will be sent to daughter who will hand deliver them to his facility (she works there and can visit daily).
SEND CARDS TO: Erling Schultz c/o Deb DeBauche 12150 Northcliff Rd

Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Sent Erling a card earlier when I heard about Dorothy's passing.
