Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT672

Bring on the Smiles

Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!

This week's challenge hostess is: ShoeGirl/Lisa

CHALLENGE:
This weeks teapot recipients could use some cheer and laughter....so that is the challenge bring on the happy cheerful and funny cards.

CARD TYPE/THEME:

Thinking of You, Encouragement, Hello, Sunshine – non-religious please

This week’s teaparty request was submitted by One4Joy (Susan). Marriage is a partnership and there are times we have to endure health challenges and other unexpected events. Lori and John are navigating new roles in their long and very happy union as John overcomes some health issues that are ever changing. Doctor’s are trying to figure out what exactly is the matter. As expected, John and Lori are experiencing a range of emotions and are in need of cheering, and laughter. For our cards, let’s think: uplifting/encouraging passages, phases, and cheer.

John’s owned an architectural practice for many years. He enjoys sailing and has a love of beauty. Their happy places are Hawaii and Arizona. John is Lori’s biggest cheerleader appreciating every detail of Lori’s artful life. Now it’s Lori’s turn to care for John.

SEND CARDS TO:

John Lawless (Lori Macedone)
90 E. 26th Ave

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.

Since John is an architect who loves sailing, I figured an architectural blueprint of a sailboat would be a good fit, together with nautical-themed dsp, knotted twine, and a shiny new anchor.

Inside has a smaller stamped image of three sailboats from the same set, and the sentiment reads “wishing you sunshine” by Papertrey, Inc.

I made this card for John, https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...0&ppuser=93505.
I will make one for Lori as well.

I so wanted to do humorous but didn't have anything I thought would work. So, I went tropical instead on my card.

bubblestx4 06-08-2021 04:27 PM

I hope John & Lori get a smile from my card . . . . . BTW - realized after I posted that I forgot to add back the black cats tail - it's there now but to dark to retake the pic.

Thank you Lisa and Susan and all those joining in our tea party. John & I are both so touched by your heartfelt creations. John has always taken an interest in my SCS activities, and I've shared many of your gallery photos and comments with him over the years. Adding to our memories though this unique and special experience will never be forgotten. Thank you for your time, talent and well wishes.
With smiles and not so inky fingers,
Lori "Artzadoni"

When I saw that the Teapot Party was for our dear Lori’s hubby, John, I knew I wanted to make a card.

I hope that this brings a smile to John’s face…and Lori’s. Thinking of them both.
