Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge -- the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary-- it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE:
I feel so lucky to be able to host this challenge for a lovely lady who is a friend of mine and of naturecoastcrafter (Jean.) Recently she suffered a heart attack and needed double bypass surgery. My challenge is to use a heart, or hearts on your card.
CARD TYPE/THEME:Thinking of You, Encouragement, Get Well
DESTINATION:
Jean and I first met Patti when she was a demonstrator for Fun Stampers Journey. We attended some of her card classes. Now Patti is a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! She also uses her heat press to make shirts for friends and family. Patti is a fun-loving, happy person. She worked in health care before her retirement. This heart attack came out of the blue. I'm sure our cards will cheer her up as she has to take it easy for awhile.

Welcome Eliana, and you've done it perfectly, not only the posting but also your card!!
My card for Patti. My youngest brother died 5 years ago today from heart disease. He was at the end of a stress test when he collapsed. I never stop thinking about him.
Prayers for Patti... Hope she has a full and fast recovery.
I love this little nurse die and use her a lot. I always forget about the cut and emboss folder and every time I do use it I am impressed at how nice it comes out..
HelloPat!
I would like to mail the card to Patti, do I need to write anything to mention where this card is coming from? It might be a great surprise to get a card, but how will she know how this random strange got her address ;)
Thank you!
Eliana

I do usually mention that the recipients name was given to a group of caring crafter's at Splitcoaststampers and by whom if it is a friend or acquaintance of theirs. . . and for exactly the reason Eliana mentioned - so a person already struggling with life doesn't freak out by finding something from a total stranger in their mail.

Thanks Linda!
Great idea, it is also a great opening message !.
I will write that in my cards from now on. And the recipient will be happy to know a friend cared enough to think of this great idea!

I am trying to comment on cards in the gallery, but I am getting a weird error message. Thank you all for the cards. I will switch to my iPad and try again.
