Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: snietje/Anita

For this week's recipient we need bright colors, texture and dimension, so what about 3D, there are some fun tutorials here on SCS 3D Stamping Tutorialor 3DFrame Displayor 3D stamping
But of course you can use a decoupage sheet if you've got some.

CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Hello, Sunshine
This week’s Teaparty recipient, Jeanne, was brought to our attention by Faith aka PeonySnail. Jeanne is neighbors with a friend of Faith’s. And, although she’s never met her, Faith felt Jeanne could use a little pick me up. Jeanne is 85 years old and has been an avid stamper for many years. Sadly, her eyesight has deteriorated to the point where she can no longer see well enough to make cards. Because of this, she has begun to give away her extensive collection of stamps (many of which have come Faith’s way). Faith thought it would be lovely to shower Jeanne with cards – we’re sure she would love it too! Given that her eyesight is so poor, it’s suggested we incorporate textures and bright colors; however, she has a caregiver who can read the cards to her. Jeanne likes flowers, cats, traveling and reading.

Going postal tomorrow: " Teapot Tuesday 3-D flowers" in my gallery. Still haven't figured out how to put a link here for a direct viewing......
You should be able to have the card open in your gallery, (not just your gallery, but the particular card) then just copy what is in the address bar of the browser and paste it in your thread here. That's the most basic and simple way. Currently it doesn't format into your card name like it used to - but it's still a clickable link.

OH MY... it worked. Thank you so much Sabrina. This is about the 3rd time it's been explained to me how to display my card in this note, but the first time it's worked !!
I absolutely love the Tea-Potter Challenge. This one in particular sits very close to my heart as I too benefitted from the stamps that Jeanne handed down to Faith (PeonySnail).
I used risers for the humming bird, beautiful jewel toned colors and added rhinestones for a finishing touch.
I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on a few Easter cards that I forgot to post!
I've added all three challenge requirements to my card: Popped=cross layers & sentiment; Layers=background = 4, plus ovals & cross; Texture=embossed card front & cross filigree.
As I'm late to the party, I made this Easter hello for my DD#2 & family.
