Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT646 Lift it up! Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun! This week's challenge hostess is:
CHALLENGE: Today we are making up-lifting cards, literally. Put something on your card that lifts. It can be something like a balloon, a hot-air balloon, a cloud, an airplane, a helicopter, a rocket, a spaceship, or a forklift or crane. Or it can be a flap or card mechanism. It can even be as simple as making your card open from the bottom. Something that lifts, that is all. CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Sunshine, Hello, Encouragement/Comforting Jennifer, SCS Jennifrann, put some feelers out and found Bill, who is the brother of a friend of a friend. Sadly, Bill is battling cancer and was supposed to have a bone marrow transplant, but is no longer a candidate. Jen suggested a tea party for Bill to lift his spirits. He likes the New England Patriots (football), Boston Bruins (hockey), and the Boston Red Sox (baseball.) Bill has a dog and also likes to relax and watch the birds in the many feeders that are in his yard. Some of his other likes include working in the yard, Star Trek, and Star Wars. Let's send some uplifting winter cheer to Bill.
