Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!

CHALLENGE: This week we are doing a word play for our cards. Use the letters of the word
CHEER to create a fun card. Note you only need to use E once on your cards. I can't wait to see how you use the letters.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Cheerful, Hello, Thinking of You, Sunshine
* Think of things that would brighten someone’s day: rainbows, flowers, hearts, sunshine, smiley faces,
animals, anything happy & upbeat
** Please avoid saying “Get Well Soon”, Feel Better Soon”, and avoid religious sentiments/messages as we
don’t know the recipient’s beliefs
This week we’re doing something a little different. Instead of all of our cards going to one person, each of your cards will go to a different person who battling cancer somewhere in the U.S. Your cards will make someone’s day bright and put a smile on their face on what might be a very dark time their life. Cards will be delivered via the Send a Smile Today program. You can read more about the program and cardmaking guidelines

You may write a personal message or choose from suggested messages outlined on the website. Make sure you sign your name to each card so the person receiving it will know who made their card and where it came from – I also like to include my city & state. Send a Smile Today will add an ink stamp inside every card so the recipient knows that the card arrived via the Send A Smile Today program. Please include an envelope for your card. If you have extra cards and/or envelopes, consider donating them. They will be very much appreciated.
