Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
It's the last Tuesday of the month, the last Tuesday of the year, the last day of the year, even. And can you believe that we have almost reached challenge #600. That's a lot of happy mail, encouraging mail, comfort, support and general warm fuzzies sent all round the world over the years. Isn't it wonderful that we can be creative, enjoy the creating, and then send our cards out to brighten other peoples lives?
My thanks to all the team for coming up with some great creative and inspiring challenges throughout the year, and also to everyone who was a guest hostess for the Tickle challenges.
Being the last Tuesday of the month, it is of course Tickle a Teapotter time, when we get to benefit from some happy mail ourselves. I decided to use as my inspiration a teapot which I came across when I was looking for one for some other challenge during the year - I loved this one. And it captures the theme of creativity so well.
Since it features an artist's easel, my challenge to you is to make an easel card - several options linked below. Or you can feature an easel as part of your image, if you prefer.
EPEC (extra points for extra cookies): either use paints (watercolours, acrylics etc, or feature an image with paint on your card.
DESTINATION STATION This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 4th Jan 2020, as I will do the draw the next morning.
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT597 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card! Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
Sorry I didn't get my card uploaded last night - the holidays have me totally confused as to what day of the week it is. But back to work and normal on Thursday for me...

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this is the first time ever I've tried an easel card. I don't know why, but I thought they were super-complicated.... The video tutorial made it so simple.
Oh, and cookies too, because I did a watercolor technique
Here's my card. (It's only the 10th card I've posted to SCS in 2019. Hopefully I can get back in the swing of things here next year.)
Thank you for this fun teaparty Sabrina and for everything you do each month to keep this happy Tickle a Teapotter event going. I have made many dear friends through the Teapotters, I feel very blessed.
Thanks so much for a fun end of year Tickle Sabrina! I echo Susie's thanks for all you do throughout the year for the Teapotter's and for organizing the tickles! :p I think we've had a really good turnout for them and it's something we all look forward to.
Sabrina you really had me going ... ugh; because I very rarely do fold cards. However after looking thru your samples, I went with the Calendar Fold and had fun doing it!!

Just made it under the wire! I cannot thank you enough, Sabrina, for leading the pack with this perfect challenge for our new year. May 2020 bring many smiles, ideas and love your way. MMTPT597 New Day New Beginnings by Lori "Artzadoni"
Had a lot of creative fun with this one but it did take a bit of time with the water colouring, certainly not a VSN card, hope my tickle recipient likes it. Posting it tomorrow so should turn up in four to five weeks, I think they have to swim across. Here it is Words of Wisdom
My card is shaped like an art/ chalkboard easel. As I'm late to the party, my card is for a long-time, neglected friend, who has not had a birthday card from me for two years!
