You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
I'm not a big New Year's Eve reveler, are you? I used to enjoy watching them usher in the New Year on TV, seeing all those people jammed together in Times Square. I always wondered what it looked like the day after the big celebration. I'm imagining discarded noise makers, hats, confetti, etc. Consider that scene when you make your card this week.
CHALLENGE: Use gold or silver, something sparkly or glittery on your card.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Teapotter's Choice- make a thank you card, send a funny card to a friend who needs cheering, check your calendar for upcoming birthdays or anniversaries, send a belated birthday card to one you may have missed
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT702 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Please note: The TEApot challenge TEAm is mixing up assignments this year. Jacqueline will be taking over Anita's hosting duties and Jen, in addition to hosting, will be responsible for coordinating parties and recipients. E-mail teaparty requests (and we do need them) to Jen at [email protected] or send a PM to jennifrann.
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.

This is not a funny card, but is meant to cheer a nursing home resident. Currently, we are not allowed into the nursing home (due to Omicron) to lead a weekly hymn sing. There are usually about 12 attendees, so I will make 15 similar cards. Until we are allowed in again, we provide a note, card or treat for them weekly. A bit of a cheat perhaps, but I used shiny embossing powder for this card for a fellow Splitcoaststampers member’s birthday- she happens to live in the same town as my husband and I, and she has a birthday next week!
