Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a TEApotter the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE:
Did you know that today, April 10th, is National Siblings Day?
Ok, I didnt either. For me I dont need a special
day to celebrate siblings. Every day I am thankful for
my sister. Some of you may know that I had a brother, too.
He died in a car accident many years ago. My
sister and I were in our teens and our brother was
in his early 20s. Certainly because of this we're
very close. I cant say that we wouldnt have been
this close had this not happened. I do know that my
sister and I never disagree or argue because we
know how grateful we are to have one another.
For today's challenge make a card showing your love for your sibling. Use an image that reminds you of them. Make it funny if you share the same sense of humor. It can be a very personal card or one more general letting them know that you're glad you're siblings.
DESTINATION STATION:
April 10 is National Siblings Day so this week were going to celebrate our siblings!
Send a card to your brother or sister (or both).
If you don't have a sibling, send a card to a "sister from another mister",
a "brother from another mother" or send one to your BFF.
Let them know you care and youre glad youre siblings (or not).
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT507 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card! Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
Here's a picture of me with my sister. This is one of those photo sculptures.
I'm on the left and she's on the right . We're about 5 and 9 years old.

It incorporates our shared love of cooking and (though neither of us has much time for it these days) sewing.
And here's the recipe, in case you're interested ;-). Maple Buttermilk Muffins. I think if you open the attachment in a new tab you should be able to view it well enough...
Hi Polly, I thought I would join in with your challenge. I was making a card for another challenge and when I saw yours relating to siblings, it was perfect to incorporate both challenges. I hope you all get my sense of humour LOL.

Fun challenge, Polly. Sorry for being slow in getting to the gallery - just on my way there now. I had extra overtime in work on Monday and Tuesday and came home sick yesterday :-(.
