The Rest of the Story:

1: Continuing on our theme of Gratitude for this month, it would be a very good time to thank all the staff of your particular spiritual home. They are always on call 24 hrs a day for any emergencies, church needs, family needs etc. This time of year not only brings joyful feelings but the stress can cause dysfunctional situations and spiritual chaos in many a home. And these loyal folks are out in all kinds of weather to minister to their flock as only they can.

2: Many of them will be making visits to jails, hospitals, nursing homes, hospice units as well as celebrating the Christmas season. This is very stressful for them but you will never hear them complain.

3: So how about giving them a little pat on the back and saying you are thankful for everything. Just a little way to make a difference in your own little hood.
