This is my story!

1. Guess what? On the way back from Paris, my luggage got lost! It seems the airlines had a hard time keeping track of 42,000 teapotter suitcases! Well, life is good! My suitcase was fed-xed back to me after I got home and my suitcase is not my suitcase! As luck would have it, I got the wrong one but hey, no worries! My *new* suitcase is filled to the brim with oodles and oodles of spectacular card making supplies and new fangled gadgets! Well, it's no secret my memory is failing so you probably know I might not remember buying all that stuff in Paris! Hey, the airline delivered it to ME, so it must be MINE! If anyone has a problem with that, SUE me! And while I am on that subject........

2. After 42,000 years of law school, finally, the degree has been awarded, the bar has been passed, the partner's have been named and the door's are about to open!

Each of these three partners has something to bring to the table to insure the future success of the law firm!

Sylvia S. Silverman. Silverman on the Sly! She's believes that a successful attorney is all about being sly, cunning, and clever! These days, if your firm can't investigate on the sly for potential clients, your firm can't compete! Investigation is Key!

Peyton P. Pinkstone. People Person Peyton! She's believes in the softer side! These days, if your firm does not relate to the potential client's circumstances, is not compassionate and caring, your firm can't compete! Compassion is Key!

Barton B. Black, III. Black's Got Your Back! He believes that being strong, forceful, confident, and in control is the the firm's future! These days, if your firm can't demonstrate to potential clients that no other attorney could begin to match up, your firm can't compete! There is no gray area, it's either black or white! Strength is Key!

3. Rut roh, everybody was so busy graduating, studying, testing and getting legal, not one person thought about the office! What about office decor? We need a new door! We open in a week! How do we decorate sheek? Dark or soft hues! What colors do we use? It must be the best! Put Dex to the test! Meet Daniel D. Dexter. Dexter the Texter! He's not a partner yet, flunked the bar, no sweat! He's the firm's fastest texter and there ain't nuttin' he can't google! When he googled office decor, furnishings, and interior decorating, he became extremely overwhelmed and confused! So many colors! So many choices! So many looks, styles, decorating books! These days, if your firm doesn't have the right decor, your firm can't compete! Interior decor, that's what's key! Dex just read a book called how to get the right look! He's under such stress cuz he doesn't get the process! The name of the game is it's all in the name!

4. Duh, it doesn't take a law degree to figure this one out! Silverman, Pinkstone, and Black! Silver, Pink and Black! Bring that! We have just a week, to turn this place sheek! Color is our thing, decor is what we bring! All three colors are right! Maybe add a little white!

EPEC: (EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA COOKIES)
You get extra points for extra cookies if you bring a little white soft fluffy furry puppy! It's the one thing that judges can't resist! Picture this......closing arguments......and all of the sudden a little white soft fluffy furry puppy jumps out of the prosecutor's purse! A recess is in order, the puppy needs to pee! The judge just got puppy kissed! This case is dismissed! Whoot!

CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:
This is a color challenge. Make a card with black, pink, and silver. Think black for bold, pink for beauty, and silver for shimmer and shine. You may add a little white, that's alright! Any images can be used but a little white soft fluffy furry puppy will get you an extra cookie or two!
You better come in the back door if your card has any smudges.....Judges will hold grudges if you rudely bring some smudges! Whipser: Hide a smudge under a flower, they will never know!

DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is Toronto, Canada! If you would like a destination for your card this week, how about sending them to Alix, the daughter of a fellow SCSer/Teapotter, Elizabeth (I Love Rubber!) Alix needs some cheering up about now!

This week its all about the hills and valleys, ups and downs of life! Just about the time you think your life is going in the perfect direction, taking shape just the way you have always dreamed it to be, a bump in the road presents itself and you find you are off track, headed in a different direction, going to Plan B! That is what happened to Alix!

I thought you all might to see a picture of my brave little angel, Alix. The first one is dressed up Alix, and the 2nd is Alix with dear little Dexter.

Silly me, I forgot to upload my card for Alix. Here is my Bring out the Silver.

Sounds like Alix's life is on the upswing...that a GOOD THING! Hopefully, our cards will even bring her more cheer. I didn't have a doggie stamp......so I might just have to settle for a cup of tea with no cookies. : )

Beautiful girl Elizabeth! Just beautiful...and what a precious widdo puppy! Thanks for sharing these photos...its nice to put a face on the teapotter card recipient! I love that! Giggle!

Dexter is a "Coton de Tulear". They are from France and a member of the Terrier family. they are usually just called "Cotons"

WOW!! Elizabeth, Alix is a Beautiful young lady! Thank you for letting us see who these cards are going to!

You can't see the white puppy because you as so focused on Coco's suit and pearls, but she is walking her little white pups

I so love the dirt bag idea, Cindy your cart is so funny I nearly fell off my chair. Here is the reason Alix is doing so well, so soon after the breakup. Her words to me, after what I'm sure you can only imagine were our chose words to describe him, "Mom, I'm sure some of the blame should fall on me, I do work long hours. He is probably going through some kind of crises." On top of this, she informed him of his legal right to half of the house which she paid for in its entirety. She believes if you allow yourself to become embittered you end up a mean vengeful person. I must admit my husband and I tend a bit more to the, let's arrange for a truckload of manure to be dumped on his car kind.
