WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #173
Get Successful at Choppers! Be Rewarded as Shoppers!
This Is No Fun! They Actually Run?
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
This is my story!
1. See this teapot? My hubby said this is the most awesome teapot he has ever seen and hey, I must say, the guy he has seen alot of teapots married to me! Ha! When I first saw this teapot I thought to myself.....its cool, not sure I will ever use it on a Teapot Tuesday but I better put it on my little pink thumb drive along with the other 42,000 teapot images. One never knows! Coupla months later, here we go!
2. It's crazy how a new business ventures come to be! If you don't believe it, just ask Curt, the Squirt! The McNally twins, Alli and Callie enrolled in one of Curt's Entramanure Seminars and learned they have to search for their own little niche to make the big bucks! Curt says, seize the opporunity!! The day after the seminar, while looking for their opportunity and a new mall, they got lost and ended up asking for directions in an amazing business! Wow, these things called Choppers are beautiful, some of them are sparkley, some of them are pearlized, some of them are hand painted, dazzling, amazing works of art! And did you see what they sell for? OMG! These guys are probably making bank! Now remember what Curt said! Seize the Opportunity! Looks to me that there are now women in this industry! And thus, an opportunity was born!
3. First things first, a catchy name! Choppers and Shoppers! There is a hidden meaning, no one will ever know. Get successful at choppers, be rewarded as shoppers! That is their motto! Who knew that in order to make it big, they had to compete with other chopper shops? Who knew that their choppers have to be judged by the public at the "reveal"? Who knew that only the winning choppers seem to get the lime light and then the big bucks? Who knew there were 42,000 other choppers to be judged against? Who knew? And the biggest shock of all? Who knew that these choppers actually run, are ridden up the stage of the reveal? This is no fun! They actually run! What do you think makes them go? I don't know! Rut roh!!
4. What's Plan B, Marilee? Marilee is a marketing guru, an expert in image! She too was surprised these choppers are actually made to be ridden down the street, much less up the ramp at the reveal!! With all of her expertise, the only thing she can come up with is a little underhanded! Now Alli and Calli, remember when you first walked into that chopper shop looking for directions? What impressed you the most? The snazzy sparkle, the pearlized paint, the extra eccentric embellishments, the dynamic design, the amazing artwork!! Those same things will impress the public! But what about the motor, the exhaust, the brakes, throttle and pistons? What about the riding part? That's when we reveal that our assistants let us down and forgot the key back at the shop! All we have to do is dazzle them with our design and be confident in our cover up! Even Curt, the Squirt said, "Just do what you have to do!" Bring fabulous flames, pitch black black, pearlized paint, silver studs, dynamic designs, chopper charm!! Oh, and did you notice the judging public is 99.9% male? Bring masculine magic, pink is not big if we wanna win this gig!
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:

DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is Burlington, Ontario, Canada. If you would like a destination for your cards this week, how about sending them to Neil Klippenstein. Neil's story was brought to our attention by fellow Teapotter
crystaldolphins (Charlene). Neil is the cousin of very close family friends of Charlene's who was in a motorcycle accident recently. The young driver of a truck who sped up to make it through a yellow light hit Neil on his motorcycle, pushed him into the vehicle in front of him and sent him into the air. He is now a quadrapalegic. He has a wife and 2 kids. He is still in the hospital and likely to be there for months.
For a link to Neil's story as well as the address to mail your cards, please go to
Post #259 in the Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is totally 100% voluntary!
Here is a
