My Story:
We are going to the North Pole. So get your earmuffs, scarfs, hats, winter coat, gloves, boots
and probably long johns too. Brrrr..... We are on a quest, a mission. What is it you ask?
To find out: What DO Snowmen Do at Night?
I went to the North Pole ahead of time, like a good hostess, setting everything up and plowing
a snow path so none of you would fall deep into the snow. Don't want to waste time digging you
guys out that we could spend sipping our thermos' of yummy tea and singing songs. I have talked to santa and he is letting us use a cottage just off his workshop. It is fully heated and high up so we will have a good vantage point. There are even telescopes set up in the windows. Mrs. Claus has been busy making us lots of different kinds of Christmas cookies. So no need to bring treats unless you want to bring one for Santa and Mrs. Claus to thank them for their hospitality, of course.
When I was there, you'll never believe what I saw....... Apparently there is a closed down amusement park nearby. The teacup ride was broken and in need of repair. Since it was not being used I saw the community of snowmen, one evening, carry a teacup from the ride and take turns sliding down the slope. Looked like they were having a grand time. I just had to take a picture.....when I returned home I realized it looked just like my teapot. The maker of this teapot must of seen the same thing. See.............
So....let's see what YOU think snowmen do at night. But I must tell you, you will have to come in the back door of the cottage if you bring any yellow snow. I guess hot chocolate will be allowed this one time, it is a teaparty, for goodness sakes, but I know Mrs. Claus makes a mean cup of cocoa and will probably be offended if we don't have some. Must have good manners, you know.

I am glad I waited for the full reveal, because I had a sneaky feeling it was a night scene. OK, so mostly I have the tune from The Snowman going through my head now . The way I feel, all this snow-buddy wants to do at night is sleep, but when I get back from work and shopping I will try to find a more interesting activity for my snowman.
Thanks for finding such a lovely teapot to inspire us this week.
What a cute teapot! Plus it sounds like a really fun teaparty this week! I can't wait to get home from work this afternoon so I can join in on the fun!
Well, so glad I could make it early for the teapot
It's early and I just woke up and getting some coffee ready and I so enjoyed your story Lisa. I'm getting the reelings of my brain going...yes, they do work. LOL
Hello teapot party lovers! I have just discovered what some snowpeople do at night. It's all pretty innocent though, don't think Bertie will be thrilled with the news. Seeing she will not be able to pass through the door with that big snowball I'm sure she'll be hiding somewhere. LOL
Here is our little friend George, the graduating angel from last night 42,0000'nth class.;)
Hope you can stop by tonight and see who else will be graduating!

Thanks Lisa for the darling teapot you found and wonderful story to go with. This card goes for this challenge too but am doing another one as well.;) Here it is
My snowmen are going carol singing...they're not quite what I imagined but I am just too tired to start again. Why didn't I use my easy snowman from WhipperSnapper instead of these cute guys  Jingle All the Way
Whooo Hoo! WHat a great story....... I am hoping I get to play this week.... I am a bit overwhelmed with coloring and cutting Nutcrackers for my Christmas cards.... Perhaps the Nutcrackers are getting busy at night......LOL....
This was fun, fun, fun. Hope you all enjoy my card and inside as much as I had making it!
Snowy days and Frosty night have 7 children and one rescued baby reindeer.
One set of twins-there was a lot of snow that night!
She is sporting a diamond on her left branch and you know what that signifies---marriage!
They have heard that there will be people up on their hill looking to see what they do. They want you to know that they are just simple ordinary snow people living the life! However, they say there are other snowmen that you just might want to check out and you will need a spy glass cuz they are hard to see in the dark, dark, darkness of the NP!
I just happen to get a good pic one night when the moon was out and a few stars were shining.
I found so many little snowmen in my stash that I had to give them lots of children, oops, snowballs.

well, it took me some time to get to the North Pole from where I live so finally got here and set up camp to do a little night time spying. Found out that snowpeople aren't so different from you and I after all. See here:

What do snowmen do at night? I think they have parties. One of my snowmen is celebrating his birthday, he has 4 little snowmen working hard to carry the luscious chocolate cake. Bugs Bunny and his friends- Sylvester, Taz, Marvin, and Road Runner- have donned party hats, along with the minature snowmen party guests, and are enjoying themselves, even if they are outdoors- they have fur and feathers!- and the snowmen would melt otherwise. The packages, which are magically floating, are all the same size, but have different wrapping paper as the snowmen wanted them that way. I can see Marvin is standing off to the side, but he's just being a wallflower. Let's Party!
