Default How do you address cards to "strangers"?

Good Sunday afternoon, everyone! I'm getting caught up on card making and have a quick question for you all who are much more experienced at this. Normally, I make blank cards to send to others for their own personal use (Operation Write Home, etc.) I've recently begun to send cards to those who are hospitalized, etc. I'm not really sure what kind of sentiment I should write to these individuals. How do you introduce or identify yourself to the people you send cards to who are essentially strangers without sounding weird? TIA!

I would stamp in an appropriate sentiment and just put in a sticky note signiture with "from a friend" or "card fairy" or some such thing as that, so that they too could send it on, if they wished.

My stranger cards mostly go to sick kids, so I sign them "Love, from your fairy grandma"

It is the appropriate sentiment that I get stuck on!
I just asked a similar question in a card request for a lady with cancer ... do you send cheery "hello" cards or sombre "thinking of you" cards.

If I can't find an appropriate sentiment stamp....I will write, "I thought of you today" or something similar. If I know they are spiritual I will tell them I sent up a prayer for them. I don't usually write much, just the thought that someone cared enough to send a card means so much to the recipient.

I would go with cheery, upbeat cards with "Thinking of You", "Just saying Hello". A simple sentiment is fine.
