1. The name of the game at SCS is to make everyone feel special on their birthday and celebrate, celebrate, celebrate gettin' old, like me! Even if you are 42,000 years old!
2. So, here's the plan Jan (she's the birthday balloon blower upper I hired!) I think we need to celebrate the Teapotter's birthdays as they come and go in 2010 and beyond!
3. I'm thinking we could simply can have a toast of the ole teacup (remember to keep your pinky up so we can be the classy girls everyone knows us to be!) to all the birthday girls celebrating birthday's each week!
4. And as an added bonus, if you are so inclined, you can send a birthday card to a fellow Teapotter! You will be given the opportunity to know what her date of birth is ahead of time just by coming in the back door and taking a tea-peek at the Teapot Tuesday Birthday Bash thread!
********************
If you want to be toasted on your birthday, post your birthdate (day and month only) here. I have started a Teapot Tuesday Birthday Bash thread and have posted a couple of January birthdays. After you post your birthday here I will add you to the master list. Then on Teapot Tuesday, we will toast the birthday girls of the week. Sound good?
I started with two birthdays in the new thread (here) that I know of that are coming up real quick. I didn't get their permission to post the dates here but I betcha they will be tickled to be toasted! (Yikes!)
And remember.....we will all be there to support you....as you get old! Oh yah, pass the word....to new and regular Teapotters! And if I miss getting your birthdate in the Birthday Bash thread send me a pm! Remember, I am old, I miss some stuff!
NO LISA.....MY birthday is December 6th...FOR REAL! I wrote in the other thread that maybe we are twins separated at birth...who knew?! Now that will make for an interesting toast next December...how many days? PS...I got a sewing machine last month for mine....ummm now what do I do?!
sounds fun...I love to celebrate anyone else getting old so can I just celebrate their b-days and not mine?....LOL!! My birthday is May 26, and I'll only be 29, I'm sure of it.
I knew you guys were all AT LEAST 42,000 years old! And hey, following instructions is not something you can do well at that age! Snort! Betcha all don't have a worse case of CRS disease than me!
We are gonna be doing alot of toasting. Yikes!
Darn...we coulda toasted Kelly and Lisa......well, belated wishes are the next best thing! Hope it was happy for you twins!
Happy Friday everyone... just getting ready for work....
My birthday is June 6th.... If I remember correctly I will be 42,054 -- an old dinosaur
Great idea Cindy.... hugs
From one dinosaur to another.
You have totally made my day. I am 113 and going backward from now on.
I have never found anyone older than me. I feel like a young pup now that I know that you are 42,054 years of age. I am looking to see if your name is in the Guiness world book of records. LOL
well...well....I am one of those ODD ones....I never met a birthday I didn't want to CELEBRATE......and I am proud and pleased to say that I celebrated my 60th on November 16......I don't want to return to 29 again as that would mean I would have to go back to work and wait many more years to reach the retirement I am now enjoying......poor but HAPPY!!!!
Happy Belated birthday to Lisa and Kelly. I just had a toast of tea. Now I am wondering who spiked my tea. You know how these teapotters are. I know I am old, but I am not this wobbly usually, that is how I know someone spiked my tea. All jokes a side, I hope you gals had a great day.
Kelly, my long lost twin....I've been looking for you. So happy to finally find you. hee. I got my first set of Copics for my b-day and am still figuring out how to use them. A sewing machine, how fun. I suck at using a sewing machine.
I think you are right, Cindy, December 6th must be everyone's birthday! Hee. Your dad's too? Who knew? I'm in good company!!!

Bet I have all of you beat! You have to understand though I am relying heavily on information my mother gave me and she could have been ten years off (oh well, yes, there is the birth certificate thing but who ever looks at that!) October 5 is the date.
What a fun idea, Cindy...I LOVE birthdays!!!! I will be 29 and a few months on May 7th (a few means more that 2, right??) My sister's b-day is Jan 17th...pretty popular day!!! Now to go post on the other thingy before I forget!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Sandy! Elvis would've been 75 today. Can you imagine what he would've looked like at 75 had he lived? I wonder if he would still be wearing those star-studded outfits. Hmmmm.... I bet you're not 75, though! Giggle.
Happy Birthday Sandy!!! Happy Birthday too you!!!!!
I still have to wait until 5/10 for my special day! Like Joanne, I am proud of the birthdays that I have earned along with all those white hairs that I earned as well!

What a fun idea! Happy Birthday to stampingwriter, Bertie and Elvis! Too cool to celebrate your birthdays on the first ever Teapot Tuesday Birthday Bash!
I'll be celebrating the 31st anniversary of my 29th birthday on March 26th.
I think I posted in the wrong thread so am trying again. My birthday will be all over SCS at this rate. As I said in the original message I believe I have you all beat with age but I rely heavily on information from my mother who could have been ten years off (oh I know about the birth certificate thing but who looks at that old thing?!)
Oct. 5 is the official date.
April the 21st for me , and a few years to go before the next big one! Judi knows which big one that will be ;-).
I've already spotted two January ones coming up in the BRAK list :-)
Am I the only April so far - can I choose cinnamon toast for my toast.
What a fun idea, Cindy.
