Default STASH18JUL 07/03/18

Are you ready for our July Stashbuster? I hope you all aren't too busy celebrating the 4th of July to do some scrapping!

If you are new to these challenges, please check out my first challenge in January 2018 with an explanation of what we are doing.

Our July Stashbuster Challenge:

Paper: Use some chipboard somewhere on your project.

Embellishments: Use some twine, hemp, or ribbon somewhere on your project.

Tool: Use a crimper, (or any other tool you haven't used in at least 6 months)

Technique: This month, we are using a "kit" you have in your stash that you have had for at least 6 months.

Remember, have fun, and do not buy anything special for this challenge.
For example, if you have no kits, make your own, with stash at least 6 months old!

Don't forget our keyword: STASH18JUL

Please come back and link us to your layout so we can come admire it. Also, let us know in the description how you met the challenge.

Here is our July Stashbuster gallery.

I can't wait to see what you come up with! Happy 4th of July!

Not a big kit purchaser, but I will see if I have anything lying around that I can adapt!

Lynn I started doing digital quite a few years ago but never got past the basic stage so gave up, I did a few layouts but it was before I came on SCS.

Sharon I don’t have a kit that matches what I want to do but have some papers with bits and pieces that match so can I use that as my kit?
I have made a start, I’ve decided to do our year, we left here in January for our trip so I’m going to try to use that on my pages and our visitors to Spain, but in a smash book, I have a new one!

Made some changes due to having no chipboard, but incorporated Cheryls variety challenge in the process as replacement.

My first Stash buster for this year, our first trip from home to San Francisco via England, this is part one from Spain to England!
It's hard to read the notes as I thought it was more personal for the family if I wrote it by hand but hopefully you can see the map of our long journey, part 1
I printed the photos of Lerma and Burgos from google images as we only by-pass the towns but I thought it would show how beautiful they are.

I had to do some thinking to get all the challenge requirements in, but I managed it! Thanks for reminding me to use my chipboard, Sharon. I have quite a bit and never seem to pull it out anymore.
